BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Here at NTEC we have extreamly well trained instructors and amazing horses. Our campers will learn how to ride, tack, and groom the horses themselves. We have many different arts, crafts, and games for the campers to enjoy. They will even get to vault on the 2012 London Olympic Horse NTEC Richter Scale!! There will also be a show at the end of the week for parents to attend complete with medals and awards! We cant wait to see your kids having the summer of a lifetime and watch them make life long friends.

CAMP LOCATION: North Texas Equestrian Center is Dallas's Best Kept Secret, located 30 minutes from downtown Dallas nestled on 50 acres along the shores of beautiful Lake Lavon in North Eastern Collin County
CAMP FACILITIES: North Texas Equestrian Center offers a wide array of amenities, providing first class care for horse and owner. There are four adjoining barns that can accommodate 100 horses, two inside arenas, three outside dressage/jumping arenas and Fifty acres of open riding and cross country jumps.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: NTEC offers the opportunity for young children as young as six thru teens to experience a working equine training facility, during a specialized structured camp; that is offered all day-five days a week, on a weekly basis; at three different sessions times in June. The facility has covered indoor arenas from the summer heat and an air-conditioned art room for mid-day activities in between their morning and afternoon riding lessons. In addition, an onsite farrier demonstrates his art of shoeing and trimming horse’s onsite as an added bonus.
The owner, Kai Handt was named U.S. Para-Equestrian Dressage Chef d’Equipe/Technical Advisor by The United States Federation (USEF) (Released Jan. 16, 2014). Kai has owned and operated the equestrian center known as North Texas Equestrian Center since 1985 and has coached and trained several young riders to National Championships and imported some of the finest German Warmblood for Dressage and Jumpers for aspiring riding athletes.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Year Round Lessons, Boarding, Training, and Horse Shows.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Wylie, Tx.- 2016 Kids Summer Camp -June 6-10, June 13-17, and June 20-24. $375.00 per week 9am-4:00pm Monday thru Friday $75.00 Off if joined by May 1st.
